The U.S shouldn't get rid of using the penny. If they get rid of the penny use it won't be good. The penny has our 16 president on the front. Pennies are used in many ways. They are used for change, for giving if you don't have a nickel or a dime.
Abraham Lincoln spoke against slavery. Wouldn't you like to see his face on a penny still? I would. They should not get rid of pennies like they don't get rid of nickels or quarters or dimes.
